CONDITIONAL SENTENCES

CONDITIONAL SENTENCES :
Conditional Sentences is a phrase used to express the supposition of an event that has not happened or even impossible. Sentences of this modality has some form of representing various forms of time, in other words, form sentences of this modality will depend on the shape of the assumed time of the incident. Here are a few patterns Sentences of Conditional.

FORMULATION:
• Conditional 1 :
1. IF + S + Present Tense, S + Future Tense
Example :
- If it doesn’t rain, I will go playing basketball.
Real Condition : It will probably rain or not,
so I will probably go playing basketball or not.

• Conditional 2 :
2. if + Past Tense + Past Future
Example :
- If you come home earlier, I would make you a food.
Real Condition : You don’t come home earlier,
So don’t make a food for you.

• Conditional 3 :
3.if + s + Past Perfect + , S + Future Past Perfect
Example :
-if you had studiet hard, you would have passed the exam.
Real Condition : You didn’t study hard, So you didn’t pass the exam.
